Revel in thy foulest horrors
and unto thee singeth
the psalms of perdition.
Draw the dagger across
the catacombs of thy heart
and dance upon pestilent winds.
Searching for substance
amongst these mundane spheres
and finding nothing
but hollow dust and echoes.
O how they speak! O They speak!
Entranced in intoxication
drenched in riddle and rime.
Rejoice!
The bearer of darkness
shalt illuminate our way
through these pillars
of subtle failures.
Cataclysmic abhorrence
and fatalistic ignorance
shalt be the derision
of non believers.
Our hands shalt be cleansed
in the blood of false idols.
None shalt seeketh these darkened
shrines.

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten

I'd say Havukruunu is the rightful holder of the Crown and the mantle of Quorthon. Epic choirs, vikingesque themes and tales from the other times, of the Finnish paganism back in the days before our ancestors were brought to the cross and forced to kneel while feeling the bloody sword of saviour on their throats made to kiss the hand of murderers who burnt thousands, tore down our holy places and took our holy days. Eyes teary I listen to these songs, never forgiving the crimes of the cross! Peikonmieli
