Through seven forbidden seals
and seven celestial sacrifices,
ghastly tongues in the dark,
permeate an utterance,
of seven incantations.
Written upon pages seared,
with the Devil's mark.
As hellish litanies yield,
to worlds from beyond and afield,
labyrinthian secrets once concealed,
all shall be revealed!
Upon the sabbat of all things grim,
the witches cavort in unholy din!
Betwixt toll of bell
and early hour,
they bellow and yell,
aghast in fright most dour!
As hellish litanies yield,
to worlds from beyond and afield,
labyrinthian secrets once concealed,
all shall be revealed!
Beyond the veil of night,
toiled in sleepless lust.
Bestowed with a golden chalice,
Her flashes of rust entrust,
a most sacred ancient rite.
I follow the path of light alight,
from a shining Northern star.
Whilst the spectres of might take flight,
to spread their hateful blight!
Hence upon the dawn of morning sight,
hearken a beckoning eternal night.
As hellish litanies yield,
to worlds from beyond and afield,
labyrinthian secrets once concealed,
all shall be revealed!

Striking and hypnotic, listening through Geister is a rugged and immense journey. The album is brimming with ceremonial darkness from the moment it starts. The intensity of each track is bookended with ritual, and this immersive factor keeps me utterly entranced by the story being told. Geister still feels frigid and dangerous, and I end up captivated every time I listen. Septembre

What an impressive piece of black metal. This one-man hurricane is pure art. Sgah‘gahsowáh creates an haunting atmosphere. He puts so much soul in his music. Sælzer Bub

Swirling guitars, furious drums, vocals that at the same time howl from infinite distance and are right up in your head; everything put into dissonant form with the help of unconventional songwriting. This album is my personal key to the icelanding black metal madness that I've ignored for way too long! Lukas Kaufmann
